Wren is a very attractive young gelding, he is a full Thoroughbred by Mastercraftman out of a mare by Intense Focus. His sire Mastercraftsman is reknowned for having horses who have retrained extremely well and are flourishing in either eventing or RoR dressage.

Wren retired from racing sound in august 2023 after a respectable career. He then had some well deserved time out before being retrained as a riding horse. He has taken this career change like a duck to water.

Wren has a very charming character, he has good ground manners and is good to do in all ways, shoe, clip, load, catch etc. He has been a very easy horse to deal with, happy to live in or out. on his own or in a herd.​

Wren is riding away nicely, is not a type to get hot up or be anxious. He takes everything in his stride and his schooling is coming on nicely. He is not a spooky type of horse. He has also done lots of pole work and started some jumping. He won't be the next big show jumper but he will always have a go!

Wren is good to hack, alone and in company and has seen farm traffic.

Wren would be well suited to a riding club/ RoR home. He is a very gentle horse that has a lot to give. he will, however, put his back up when you first get on if he has not been ridden in a while, he has only done this once with us, and it did not escalate, the next day he was foot perfect.

Wren is looking for his next best friend, his price reflects this as a priority.
