Matty is the real superstar! A real model that oozes quality with textbook conformation. He is Irish bred by Irish Draught Stallion Breeda Mountain out of an Irish sports horse mare by Sovereign Water.

Matty's career has mostly been in the show ring, he has been an unbelievably successful show horse, having won numerous showing competitions he then went on to win Star of the future at HOYS in 2021.

Matty has also been to numerous unaffiliated dressage and showjumping competitions and has enjoyed the variety. He is well schooled, has 3 balanced paces and jumps well with a good technique. He will also jump off a missed stride and is unphased by planks fillers etc. Matty has just started his BD career with some respectable marks at elementary level.

Matty is a very versatile horse that would suit a lot of riders, he fills you with confidence on the flat and is very forgiving when jumping. He is guaranteed an easy ride.

Matty is good to hack, alone and in company, He has seen farm traffic and is very mannerly in open spaces.

Matty has good ground manners, he is not boisterous. He is good to shoe, catch, load, travel. He does require a little sedalin for clipping. He is very well behaved at a show.

Matty does have a grumpy face over the stable door. He is good in the stable, he just likes to pretend to be someone he is not over the door.
